I made up my mind to continue south, on &#8216;known&#8217; (mapped) terrain, maybe to Fianarantsoa.<\/p>\n<p>But today I only made it to Ambositra, allegedly the &#8216;arts-and-crafts capital of Madagascar&#8217;. And indeed are there quite some shops that sell carved figurines and tools and other artisans&#8217; products.
