One of the first things I noticed was that my SIM card was barred again. So I spent a few hours in Vadodara city trying to get a new one. But all the shops as well as an official Airtel shop said &#8216;nope, you can&#8217;t get a card unless you got a permanent address in India (and some kind of proof for that)&#8217;. A hotel bill was not sufficient (unlike earlier in Mumbai and Silvassa). At least I got a map of Gujarat that is a bit more accurate than the one I already had.
