There were quite a few steep and long climbs today. In some village, when I had a short break at one of those hills, I guy stopped and told me that that hill was about the worst I would encounter on this road for the next 150 or so kilometers. He was quite right as far as I can tell. Unfortunately, I left the road after about 11 km. His predictions weren&#8217;t true for the new one.<\/p>\n<p>The campsite I wanted to go to originally didn&#8217;t exist any more so I tried to reach Tonstad. However, having missed out on lunch, and facing quite steep hills, I decided to call it a day after 116 km and camp near a river near the village of Eiesland.
