Later I noticed that one of the tent poles had snapped.<\/p>\n<p>Just 91km to Geilo. However, the first 37km were a nasty climb through M\u00e5b\u00f8dalen and onto the Hardangervidda, from Eidfjord at sea level to more than 1100m.<\/p>\n<p>Near Haugast\u00f8l I met another cyclist &#8211; a local &#8211; and we rode together to Geilo.
