From there I cycled the 43km to Mehamn through a cold evening. Both Kj\u00f8llefjord and Mehamn are at sea level, but the road crosses a <a title=\"Fell on Wikipedia\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Fell\" class=\"external external_icon\" rel=\"nofollow\">fell<\/a> so the ride involved a nice climb. The landscape is slightly less green than on Mager\u00f8ya, the Nordkapp island; there is more scree here, and it&#8217;s less hilly on top of the plateau.
